ICE! Merry Madagascar

Tonight, Joanna and I surprised Pierce and Kate and took them on a special night out to ICE! Merry Madagascar.  This was my first time to go and I think I was just as excited!

Here we go!

All bundled up...it's 9 degrees in there!

It really is impressive!  Everything is made of ICE!

Joanna, Pierce, Kate and me...

Ice Slides...Pierce...

Here comes Kate...

She loved the slide!

Going down the "little" slide.  The lady at the top told her to lay down so she could go fast!

She looks like she has frozen into the ice in this picture...

Kate with Alex the Lion...

At the very end they had a full nativity made of clear ice.  Pretty impressive!

Kate and Pierce looking at Baby Jesus...

This doesn't do it justice...

All done!

On the way out we took a few pictures in the Gaylord.  It is BEAUTIFUL at Christmas!

Such a fun night!!!

Santa Pics!

This was our fifth year to go see Santa. Kate has been talking about it for weeks. She was so excited to tell Santa she wanted a scooter. When we talked to Brynlee about it, she would say, "I want a doll,"  followed by, "I just wave at Santa."

Waiting in line!  We have the best daddy.  He went early to get in line for us!!!

As soon as it was our turn, this happened...

Followed by the death grip...

So guess who got to be in this year's Santa picture...ME!  Every 33 week pregnant mom's dream!

 Kate was all smiles!

Telling Santa she wants a scooter!

This year's Santa pic...lovely!

I guess technically it's Camryn's 1st Santa picture.  Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Cookies

We made and decorated Christmas cookies this afternoon.  My mom gave me a nativity cookie cutter set a few years ago.  Every year we make nativity cookies and every year you can't tell who is who.  This year was no different...

Our nativity cookies...your guess is as good as mine.  Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, Angel, Camel, Sheep, Wise men...they are all there...

Thankfully, the girls don't care...they just love cookies!
Kate is one serious decorator...

Brynlee attempted, then just wanted me to do it for her so she could eat it.  She doesn't mess around...

Showing me their cookies!

Tonight in her bedtime prayers, Kate thanked God for baby Camryn and making Christmas cookies!

December 1

We started a new family tradition this year...a December 1 Kick Off Goodie Bag!  A new Christmas movie, Christmas shirts, Christmas books, etc.

The girls were so excited to open their goodie bags at breakfast...

Of course...the biggest hit was the Christmas tree headband from the $1 aisle at Target...

Love celebrating Christmas with these sweet kiddos....
