7 months - Camryn

Our baby girl is 7 months old.  It's kind of hard to believe.  She is the BEST baby!  By far the easiest of our 3 in the baby stage!  And we do NOT take it for granted!  Sunday was crazy.  I had my race, Kate had a birthday party, and I had a baby shower to attend so I only got these pictures right before her bath...

Monday we did a little 7 month photo shoot...

She is sitting better every day.  She can sit for about 20 minutes but still makes me nervous.  I don't leave her sitting alone because she could fall at any minute.

She loves TAGS like Kate did.

And just so I remember.  Camryn is eating baby food now.  So far she hasn't turned anything down.  She is taking 2 long naps and 1 cat nap on the days we are home.  She doesn't have any teeth and isn't showing any signs of teeth.  She loves her Sophie the Giraffe.  She is a great sleeper...and she wakes up and puts her paci in and just waits for us to come get her.  She has the sweetest laugh.  Parker calls her Cam-a-lam-a-ding-dong occasionally...so that is what Brynlee calls her too. 

Hottest Half!

Sunday morning, Wendi and I ran the Hottest Half.  We have been training all summer.  Wendi and I ran my 1st half together.  Her husband coaches football so we were trying to find a race before football season...so Hottest Half it was!

Post-Race.  We did it!  And really, it wasn't that bad. 

Parker and the girls were at the finish line.  I wish I had a picture of them cheering us on!  It was so cute to see them!  They were not that interested in a picture once they realized how sweaty I was...

They both kept saying, "but you are too sweaty!"

Last week of Summer...

Last weekend, Parker kept the girls overnight so I could go to a girls weekend for Jocelyn's birthday.  Her parents have a lake house on Cypress Springs.  We had so much fun just hanging out!  Saturday, we took the boat out for tubing.  I seriously can't remember the last time I tubed.  It's been at least 10 years...if not more.  We had SO. MUCH. FUN.  I don't have pictures, but I flew off the 1st time and skipped like a rock across the water.  These pictures are from my 2nd attempt...

Yep!  I hung on while Stephanie flew off!!! Woo Hoo!

Such a fun weekend with these sweet friends...

This was our last week of summer.  Meet the Teacher is Monday and then school starts Tuesday!!  We had another pretty low key week.  One afternoon it was "cool" enough to get outside. 

Brynlee only lasts 8-10 houses before she drops her ride and just runs to keep up with Kate. 

Brynlee.  I could write paragraphs about her.  2 has not been her best year.  She is so sweet, and cute, and fun, but she has an attitude like you have never seen.  This girl is going to give me gray hairs and wrinkles for sure!  She is the last one at the dinner table EVERY. NIGHT!  She plays and talks and plays and whines about EVERY SPECK OF PEPPER on her food.  And then, when everyone else is done eating and left the table she usually cleans her plate. 

And then there's Camryn...who has been our easiest baby by a mile.  I am sure she will pay us back when she is 2! 

Kate LOVES Rainbows.  She asks for Rainbow everything...clothes, toys, food...it doesn't matter.  She even colors in RAINBOWS...

And then there is Brynlee, who only colors in pink...

Sunday, Camryn and I went to Starrla's baby shower. 

 

We are ready for a great week back to school.

Not much going on...

I feel like the first part of the summer flew by with swim lessons, vacations, etc.  But these past 2 weeks have been slow.  Not in a bad way, just not much going on.  And here are the pictures to prove it...

Kate's been interested in helping me feed Camryn.  She usually gets bored with Camryn's slow pace after about 5 bites...

CC came to visit!  We tried out 5th Street Patio Café for breakfast!  It was AWESOME!

It's been too HOT to go outside after naps so most days we do something that looks like this!  I will say both girls coloring skills have improved this summer...

Go BANANAS!  Camryn's 1st fruit!  She was a little unsure...as you can tell by the amount she spit out on to her bib.  The 2nd attempt the next day was much better.

We have a sitter...well, sort of.  She is still pretty unstable, but she can do it!

Brynlee...she has grown up so much this summer.  Can't believe she will be 3 in less than 2 months!

Dog Days of Summer

We have officially hit the dog days of summer.  We have 3 weeks til school starts and life gets crazy again...so I am trying to soak in every minute we have left with no schedule. 

We had a pretty low key this week.

Monday:  We went to Lowe's.  Whoever invented this shopping cart is a genius!

Tuesday:  We met the McCords at the mall to play, eat, and ride the horses!

Wednesday:  Camryn got a new chair...and she LOVES it!

Kate took a rare nap on Wednesday.  When I went to check on her she was wrapped head to toe in her blanket.

Friday:  All 3 girls in their chairs...Brynlee was not in the mood!
