My mom bought Kate (and Bryn) these advent calendars...one is a paper nativity scene with the verses from Luke under each number highlighting the story of Jesus' birth. The other one is a Hallmark ornament that you can turn each day and it tells the story and plays some Christmas music. Every day after Kate eats her breakfast we open the verse for the day and turn the ornament. Kate is loving it. As soon as she gets done eating she points to it and says what number we get to open that day. This post is a little picture overload but I love her excitement about doing the advent calendar each morning.
