Lobster...Take 2

In June of 2009 we tried this for the first time. Parker decided it was time to try it again.

Showing Kate the lobster...we didn't tell her it was Mommy and Daddy's dinner...
Last time we bought 2 smaller ones. This time we bought 1 BIG one. Almost 3 lbs. It was a little scarier dealing with him...and his claws!

"Is that real?" Kate wasn't real sure about him.

So after the girls went to bed we had a little date night in. Last time we steamed them. Tonight, we boiled them. Parker added some seasonings to the pot and it turned out awesome! We both liked boiled better than steamed.

Check out these claws...a lot less scary when they are not moving!

It is a little expensive but fun to do together!
