Our Sick Chapel Angel

Kate was the Chapel Angel last Thursday at school.  She has been looking forward to this all year.  Every Thursday she tells me who the Chapel Angel was and that she can't wait for it to be her turn.  Well, last Thursday was her turn!  She got to bring the Joy Bag home. 

Unfortunately, Thursday night Kate got sick...REALLY SICK...and basically looked like this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 

Even though she was sick, she still wanted to do the Joy Bag.  So we read the story of Esther and listened to the CD.  And she insisted on writing in the journal herself. 

"Kate.  I liked singing and reading."

It was a long weekend...so glad that she finally perked up on Monday!
