Easter is on its way!

We went to Prestonwood's Easter Eggstravaganza this morning. Parker told Kate on Wednesday that we were hunting Easter eggs on Saturday. After every nap, Kate has asked me if it is time to go hunt eggs. Well, today was the day. First we went to the sanctuary to watch Miss April perform. This was Kate's first "show" of any kind. She did great. She sat and watched the entire thing (it was about 3o minutes long). She did say several times, "we put eggs in basket after this?" Kate with her friends Brady and Pierce... Time for the Easter egg hunt!

Checking out what is in the egg... (This morning when I pulled her Easter basket down, there were empty eggs inside...she opened all of them and looked at me and said, "I think you forgot...they are empty." She remembered there was supposed to be candy inside...)

After the egg hunt, Kate went to the bounce houses!

She loves to jump and slide!!!

Tonight at bedtime when we were reflecting about our day, Kate said, "Miss April sing to God." It is fun to see her little mind at work.
