Wednesday morning we took the kids to Wannamaker Park.

Thursday we went into Charleston to go to the Children's Museum of the Low country.

JuJu and PaPa T kept the girls at the museum while we went to the Old Slave Mart Museum. It was very interesting and heavy and sad. Such a dark part of our history.

Then we ate lunch at Smoke BBQ. It was soooooo yummy.
Later that afternoon Jonathan, Karen, Parker, and I went to Boone Hall Plantation.
This is the avenue of the oaks leading into the plantation.

Thankful to JuJu and PaPa T for keeping these crazies so we could do a little sightseeing!
Friday we drove ALL THE WAY back to Texas. South Carolina, you were so fun! Thankful for a full week of fun with family!
They finally crashed about 30 minutes away from home.
