Hilton Head, SC

Our vacation this summer was to South Carolina.  We spent the first 3 nights just our family and then went to Summerville/Charleston to visit the Watsons. 

We left Saturday and drove 12.5 hours to Atlanta.  These 3 did awesome in the car.  This was our first night to stay in a hotel as a family of 5.

Sweet Brynlee threw up twice in the car (before we even got out of Texas)...but then she was fine. 

Sunday we drove 3 hours to Hilton Head.  As soon as we got there we headed to the beach.

After the beach and the pool, we headed to dinner at The Salty Dog Café.  There was an hour and a half wait.  It was such a fun area.  They had face painting, ring toss, a magic show, and limbo.

Then we had ice cream BEFORE dinner!  Always a favorite with the girls.

Monday morning we went to the Harbour Town Bakery.  Then we walked across the street to this fun park.

Then we headed to the beach.  We rented boogie boards for the day.  This is Kate on the left and Camryn on the right...

Camryn LOVED the beach this year.  It was really fun to watch her.

Camryn.  I was really nervous she was not going to like the salt water but she took it like a champ.  We finally have 3 kids who love the beach.

The beach with these 3 is fun but exhausting.  And the only way to keep up with them is to make them match.

Monday night we ate at The Crazy Crab in Harbour Town.  Afterwards we walk around the Harbor.

Tuesday morning breakfast on the balcony...

We drove through the forest preserve and Parker spotted this alligator!!!

Then we headed to Charleston for a quick stop at the Charleston Battery.

Next stop...SUMMERVILLE!
