Thanksgiving in Houston

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Houston with Parker's family. We had a great week hanging out with family and eating tons of great food (THANKS CC)! Papa Lon and CC's neighborhood has several great little playgrounds and a splash park. Since the weather was perfect, we took Kate up to the parks almost everyday.

Kate's hair

Kate's hair is starting to get longer and thicker...but only in the back. The front is still really short and thin. This makes for a small dilema because the hair in the back is really too long for her headbands, but the hair in the front is too thin and short to keep a bow in. We tried a new bow today...here are some pics...

Emma Grace

We are officially Aunt Janet and Uncle Parker. My sister Karen and her husband Jonathan welcomed sweet Emma Grace this morning. Karen went into labor on her own in the middle of the night and Emma was here by 10:30 AM. She is 6 lbs 11 oz, 19.5 inches and so beautiful! We had a blast celebrating with them today and meeting sweet little Emma.

Stepping

Well, Kate is officially taking steps. She had just been taking 4-5 at a time but last night she figured it out and starting taking 15-20 at a time. She is still crawling most of the time so I won't say she is walking, but she is STEPPING.

Here are some pics of our little stepper...

And here are some videos...
