Kate and her Daddy

Nobody can make Kate laugh like her daddy...

When I look at this picture I can hear her belly-laughing. I love it when Kate laughs really hard!
These 2 make me smile! Kate LOVES her daddy!

Easter

For Easter, we stayed here and got to hang out as our little family of 4! The holidays are getting more fun every year. Kate is starting to "get" (or at least repeat) the true meaning of why we celebrate Easter. We had a funny moment this week. I was doing stickers with Kate and made this...

I said, "Kate is..." and pointed to the 2. And she said, "RISEN!!!" Obviously we have a ways to go on her understanding of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, but at least she is listening.

Here are pictures from our Easter...

The Easter bunny came and left GIANT EGGS...that crazy bunny...Bryn's 1st Easter!Checking out her new snail!
Kate opening her egg!
After Kate opened her egg, she sweetly went over to help Brynlee open her egg (or maybe to compare what was inside). Both girls checking out Bryn's goodies... After Kate compared the 2 eggs, she was satisfied with hers...
The Easter Egg Explosion!

Sweet girl!

Kate and Daddy before church (Bryn was getting a quick nap)...

All ready for church!

After church...

Then Kate hunted eggs in the backyard...

The Easter bunny got a little tricky this year...

She was a little unsure about the big egg until she found the Purple bubbles inside...

Basket full of eggs...

Eating a little candy...

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die, and whoever lives by believing in me will never die..." John 11:25-26

Flowers

We went to a birthday party and the favors were these cute little buckets with a bag of dirt, sunflower seeds, a shovel and a little watering can. So today after Kate's nap we went outside to plant her flowers. Putting the seeds in... Adding the rest of the dirt...

Watering the dirt/seeds...
So proud of herself!
This is post nap hair in all it's glory...and the reason why we have a bow in 95% of the time. It is not easy to tame this!!!
More watering (there is a small chance that the seeds were drowned in this process)...
Kate wanted to do it again...she started trying to dig the seeds out...
So I distracted her with watering the roses in the front yard...

We'll see if any flowers show up in her bucket in 7 to 14 days~

Swinging

This seems like it was just yesterday...Kate's first time in the swing! Kate swinging with her buddy Pierce... And this was today...Brynlee swinging for the first time... With her little buddy Brody... Much like big sister... Bryn loved the swing!
