Got Milk?

Kate LOVES Milk...so I thought this would be a fun treat for her after naptime today.

Yep, you read that right...RED VELVET CHOCOLATE MILK! And it really is RED!
I poured both of us a glass. I had to try it too...Kate was a little unsure about the color at first...
But drank every last drop. She never took the cup from her mouth:).

After she drank it all she said, "That was soooo yummy!"

We are in!

Well it only took 4 1/2 months but we are finally in our new house! We closed Friday, December 16 and moved/unpacked all weekend. My parents kept the girls so we could get their rooms ready. It was so fun showing them their new rooms on Monday.

Parker came home from work to be there when they came for the first time...

Happy Birthday Jesus at CLC

Kate's class had a "Happy Birthday Jesus" party before the Christmas break. Both Parker and I always love seeing Kate in her world and meeting her school friends that we hear all about.

You can't tell by this picture but Kate loves school...

We had so much fun at her party. We made a sticker nativity and decorated sugar cookies!

Gingerbread Houses

We got together with some friends to decorate gingerbread houses.

Emma's 2nd birthday

Our sweet niece Emma had her 2nd birthday party on Saturday. We drove over to Fort Worth to help her celebrate! Kate was so excited to jump in the bounce house and eat cupcakes.

Christmas at Newman Village

Friday night we went to "It's a Wonderful Life" at Newman Village in Frisco. Our friend Lauren planned the whole event! She did a fabulous job...there were train rides, carriage rides, ice skating, Santa, etc. It was so fun!

Our visit with Santa

We took the girls to see Santa. Historically speaking, this usually does not go that well. Kate has cried/screamed the past 3 years and Bryn was 2 months old last year. Well, this year went better than we expected.

Kate was a little apprehensive and wanted Brynlee to go first. As soon as I put Bryn in Santa's lap, this happened...
SHE WAS NOT A FAN!
MOMMY!!That didn't really help Kate out. So Parker told her that she didn't have to sit in Santa's lap...and to just go tell him what she wanted. She walked up confidently and said, "I want a bicycle."Santa had this fun Christmas tree toy that really intrigued her. And she ended up sitting in his lap...And even smiling a little...One more attempt with Bryn...
