Bryn is 1!

October 8, 2011 our sweet Brynlee Moore Hamilton ONE! We are so thankful for and blessed by this sweet girl. We had a day full of celebrating Brynlee.

We started the day with chocolate covered donut holes...

She was not that impressed...

Then we took the girls to play...Brynlee and Halle trying to figure out how to get up to Kate...

Bottoms up! These 2 are quite the pair...

Still no steps...but standing some on her own...

Later that afternoon, we grilled out burgers with our friends, The Gilliams, and then had Society Bakery cupcakes...

YUMMY!

Happy Birthday to our sweet Brynlee!

The Birthday Girl...

Checking out the cupcake...

I wish I could say she loved it...but that could not be further from the truth...

She DID NOT LIKE IT AT ALL...

So unless something changes...looks like we are going to have to find a different way to celebrate birthdays. So far, she doesn't seem to be a "sweets" kid...which she gets from her daddy.

Daddy and Mommy with the birthday girl...(her birthday fell on OU vs. TX weekend...which may happen every year)...

Opening gifts...

Playing with her new stuff!

Halle and Kate checking out the new toys...

And just so I remember what you are up to these days:

You are crawling and cruising everywhere. I can't turn away for a second. You haven't taken any steps but you are standing up all by yourself. You love your sister and want to be where she is. You have learned to stand up for yourself. When she takes something from you, you let us know, very clearly, that you are not happy about it. You love milk and food. You are a great eater. You have started talking some...so far the words you consistently say are Mama, Dada, hug, and ball. You have said Kate, PaPa, woof (dog), baaa (sheep), and a few other things sporadically. You have your 4 top and 4 bottom teeth and are currently cutting 3 molars...which is the reason for the huge drool spot on all your clothes. There is a steady stream of drool coming out of your mouth these days. You love to give hugs and are pretty cuddly. You are content sitting in my lap these days...which may be because you don't feel well from teething. You are the sweetest little thing and we can't imagine life without you.
