Last weekend we bought Kate a new clock for her room. It turns yellow at bedtime and lights up green when it is time to wake up. We are trying to give her a little more "freedom" and take the child lock off her door. She's had the clock in her room since Saturday but last night was the first night we took the child lock off. This morning...at 7:00 AM sharp I hear her door open and she yelled..."MOMMY, THE CLOCK IS GREEN!"
Today at lunch she prayed, "Thank you for this day, Thank you that the white thing is off my door, Thank you that my clock turned green, Thank you for this water and pizza, Amen."
Here's hoping the clock continues to work and she stays in her room til it turns green!
