Frank's 20th

On Saturday, we drove to Shreveport to celebrate one of my favorite people...or one of my favorite families. Frank Gunn and his family moved to Shreveport 20 years ago. I was in 7th grade (1992) and he was our new youth minister. In 9th grade (1994), his wife Lydia started discipling me and continued to do so until I graduated high school in 1997. In 1999, I interned for the youth ministry and Frank was my boss. I came back and interned again after I graduated from college (2001). In 2005, Frank officiated our wedding ceremony. I've been in Dallas for almost 10 years and we still visit the Gunns almost every time we go see my parents. I love this family.

This past weekend was Frank's 20th anniversary at Broadmoor...so we went to Shreveport to honor him at his reception. What a great legacy of ministry Frank has and will continue to have at my home church.

We had a sweet time honoring Frank sharing how Frank's ministry shaped who we are...and taking "stache" pictures in honor of Frank...

The Gunn Family...Annalise, Frank, Lydia, Mary Lindsay and Slater...(we missed you little Frank)
The Hamilton Family...
Happy 20th Anniversary Frank!!!
