Kate is 4!

Our sweet and spunky Kate is 4 years old!!!   FOUR!  She is full of joy and energy!  She loves to laugh and be silly.  Kate is also very sweet and becoming more and more thoughtful...especially of Brynlee.

Here are a few pictures of our four year old!!!

We love you so much Kater-bug!!!  We are so thankful that God gave us to you!

And just so I don't forget what she is up to at 4...
Kate is really into Disney Princesses right now...Belle, Rapunzel, Ariel and Cinderella especially.  She likes the characters/dolls more than the movies.  She also LOVES Curious George.  That is her favorite "movie" to watch.  She also loves school and talks about her friends all the time.  She likes to dress up, play with baby dolls, play LEGOS, and do puzzles.  She LOVES to read books and will sit and listen to chapters at a time.  She asks a ton of questions...she doesn't stop until she is satisfied with your response.  She loves to have her toenails and fingernails painted.  She is no longer taking naps but will "rest" aka stay in her room for 2 hours.  She comes out as soon as her clock turns 3 (PM).  She loves necklaces and bracelets.  She also loves all things chocolate...cookies, ice cream, etc.  She would rather play with Brynlee than play by herself...with this comes its share of arguing and fighting, in love, of course.  Her favorite colors are purple and blue.  She really likes "all the colors except white."  Her favorite place to eat is "Chicka-fil-a."  She is also quite the creature of habit.  Our bedtime routine is quite the ordeal.  Lambie has to be in a certain place, along with Bear, Chester and Moose.  The blankets have to be just right...then we pray, sing "Goodnight Sweet Kate," and now she likes me to scratch her arms, tummy and back while I count to 20...can you say a little high maintenance?  Then before we leave the room, we say...See you after your nap, love you, night night.  Kate can also be a little bossy.  She likes to make sure Brynlee is following all the rules...unless, of course, Kate isn't following the rules either.  She loves to do crafts...stickers, markers, paint...all of it!  She is becoming more interested in writing letters.

Here are "Brynlee's letters" she wrote the other day...
All this being said....can't believe our oldest is already 4 years old.  What a fun age!
