We moved Brynlee into her big girl bed last night.
She was excited...
Maybe a little too excited...
Because she had a little bit of a hard time settling down.
She got out right at first and cried at the door. Panic cry. We asked if she wanted to sleep in her crib and she said, "NO!" so we told her she had to stay in her bed. After that, she stayed in and just whined for about 20 minutes. Then she played for about 20 minutes. Finally, she got under the covers and went to sleep. I checked on her all night long in the monitor. At one point, she was sleeping like this...
But she slept ALL night and was still just laying in bed at 7 this morning when I went to get her! So proud of our BIG GIRL!!!
I was a little nervous about naptime today. It took her a while to settle down...she just crawled from one side of the bed to the other...but she finally did and is snoozing away...
Great job! Graham is still in a crib. I couldn't face a newborn and the potential of a roaming toddler, so we just got another crib from craigslist for Adele. I'm really nervous about the transition to a big boy bed. Eek! It's like potty training and getting rid of the paci...totally freaks me out!
