Kate likes to pray before every meal. We started saying "God is great, God is good, Let us thank him for our food" because Brynlee could say it with us. In the past few months we have been working on Kate saying "big girl prayers." She usually prays for "everyone" as she calls it...Mommy, Daddy, Kate, Brynlee, CC and Papa Lon, JuJu and PaPa T, Karen, Jonathan, Emma, Abby, Katie, Robby, Quinn, Reid, Ginny, and Carter. She has slowly started mentioning things about her day.
Today at lunch this was her prayer:
Dear God,
Thank you for things that are pretty.
Thank you for snow and flowers.
Thank you for food.
Amen.
