Kate has rest time from about 1 to 3 pm most days. She usually just plays "quietly" in her room. When her clock turns 3, she can come out of her room. This weekend, Parker was "tucking her in" even though she rarely sleeps. Their conversation went something like this...
Kate: can I get up at a different number than 3 or something?
Parker: you can get up at 4.
Kate: but the 1's are long and the 2's are really really long
Parker: rest quietly for a little bit and maybe I will come get you early
Ironically, that day she slept past 3...

I love this. We have Nap Negotiations at our house everyday. This made me laugh though. SO funny. Love that ya'll 'tuck her in' everyday at nap. We do the same even though she's up and out of her bed playing before we get down the hall.
