GIGANTABUGS!

Over a month ago Emma told Kate about these "gigantic bug statues that move" at the zoo.  Ever since then Kate has been asking when we can go see them.  So Thursday we met my parents and sister and her kids at the Fort Worth Zoo to see the GIGANTABUGS.  I had no idea what to expect.  And I was hoping the "bugs" met Kate's expectations...

and they did.  They were actually really cool.  This was the 1st one we saw...the GRASSHOPPER.

And we saw some real animals too.  

 This Bombardier Beetle sprayed water...which these 3 thought was hilarious. 

 Kate loved getting sprayed...

 Brynlee was not interested in that...

 Brynlee did like the ladybugs...

 Kate had fun playing under this fountain...

 Before we left, all the girls "made a penny" and they were thrilled!!
