Dinner is served...

Parker has been talking about having lobster for a few weeks now. When he gets something like this in his mind, there is no stopping him. So after a little research on how to make lobster, we decided to try it tonight. I must say this is the first time I've ever bought a LIVE animal at the store that we were going to eat for dinner that night. It was a little weird.

The Lobsters...we learned that you can keep them alive in the refridgerator for up to 24 hours but these guys only had to stay alive for an hour or two. I didn't want to chance it...

Kate checking out the lobster...(don't worry, she was in bed before we started cooking)...

She got brave enough to touch it...

Checking out dinner...

Cutting off the rubberbands...

Scary big claws...

Into the pot...

All that work for this little piece of meat...

And DINNER IS SERVED...
We probably won't do it again for a while but it was a fun dinner.

  1. impressive. be honest, did you feel just a little bit guilty throwing a live animal in a pot of boiling water?
